Black Skeptik “Frankenstein Saves Hip-Hop”

I don’t know much about this song or artist, other than the fact that I discovered it on the Indiefeed HipHop podcast, presented by Dirt E. Dutch.  One of the things I enjoy about hip-hop is how often artists create music about music.  Also it’s interesting when you see that most of the good rappers have the same musical heroes. (Or at the very least, they share more commonalities in influence than you could say for most rock musicians.)  That might have something to do with the fact that this point in the game, rock isn’t one genre, its several.  The music and execution of this song,  while great, aren’t thrilling me 100%, but the concept is gold.
